13 year old Stijn Paardekooper became the European Optimist Champion 2012 using his North Sails DZero6 sail.
“Thank you very much for developing this sail! The D-zero-6 is for me in light conditions perfect and brought me the advantage on my competitors. Even when my starts where not always perfect I could develop more speed than other sailors. This resulted in a very consistent series with a ninth place as my worst score”.
Stijn sailed a very strong 9-race series showing great speed and consistency all week, beating the 158 boat fleet, discarding only a 9th place!
