Soling Worlds

A brief note from the 2012 Soling World Champion Paul Davis:

Great Job!

Dear North friends,

North Sails dominated the Soling Worlds and we were unbeatable… six firsts and two seconds! We were faster and smarter and that is a tough combination!

It was a predominately windy event with with breeze mostly in the 15-22 range. We used the V1+ in only two races. The new V1 turbo in heavy cloth with the radial head is a great heavy air sail…. This sail is FAST over 14 or a little less in flat water.

The AP2 main was used by the top 3 boats and early versions were used by the 4th and 5th place boats.

The PD4 spinnaker made out of Superkote spinnaker cloth is clearly the best spinnaker (used by the top 3 boats).

Overall a great regatta and we couldn't be prouder of our products!
