2.4m's at the ISAF World Sailing Cup Miami

North Sails 1st, 2nd, and 3rd

 
 

It was a great turnout for the first 2.4 World Cup event of the new Olympic cycle. The sailors were greeted by spectacular sailing conditions with the breeze between 10 and 18 knots every day and temperatures of 24 degrees Celsius, making this a welcome trip for many foreign sailors who have been battered by gale force winds and snow in their own countries.

The top four boats of Meg Pascoe GBR, Bruce Millar CAN, Allan Leibel CAN and Bjornar Erikstad NOR had a really closely fought battle all the way to the end, with only a few points separating them. In the end it was Meg Pascoe from GBR who came out on top, winning the last 2 races.
