North Sails: News Details

Star Sailors League Bahamas

North Sails

Won by Scheidt & Prada

18 top Star crews gathered in the Bahamas for the first edition of the Star Sailors League Finals last week.

The event consisted of three days of qualifying races followed by a finals day where the scorelines for the qualifying boats were wiped clean. This last day saw three knockout races where again at the end of each race the scores no longer counted it and it was just who was through to the next round. For the first time ever in the sport of sailing, the winner of the third and final race of the day was also the winner of the event!

Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada dominated the qualifying races and delivered a fourth place in the quarter final and consecutive wins in the semi final and grand final to seal their victory.

The duo raced with a full North set up using the M16 and J1R4. Please see our class page for more details of these winning sails.
