North Sails have just put together a Worldwide competition to design the Optimist World Championship T-Shirt. The competition is open to any Optimist sailor between the age of 1 and 15, as of December 31st 2009. Your winning design could be the World Championship's T-shirt, worn by you and all the top Optimist sailors from around the World!
The design can be anything you fancy, preferably to do with Optimists and sailing! It must be black and white and should fit within maximum dimensions of 10” wide x 10” deep. Once you have drawn your design you need to scan it (300dpi minimum) and send it to Brian Bissell, the Optimist Class Specialist in the USA, by the 30th June 2009.
The designs will then be judged by a specialist panel at North Sails and the results posted on 10th July 2009 on www.onedesign.com and www.northonedesign.com
The T-Shirts will then be made and distributed to all the top sailors at the World Championships, plus you will receive your own personal copies!
