3DL STYLES

3DL® sails for racing and cruising sailors are available in many different combinations of yarn, yarn layout and film. Your North Sails representative is prepared to help you determine which style of 3DL performance is the right choice for your boat and budget. All styles are also available with North TF taffeta films for added chafe, tear and UV resistance on one or both sides.

© North Sails	3DL580 is a blend of North Flex-Balanced™ Carbon and Technora® yarn which delivers superior 3DL thermo-molded performance and is a distinctive all-black style for small-to-medium recreational racers and cruisers. It’s the value leader of the 3DL line.
© North Sails	3DL680 is a blended North Flex-Balanced™ Carbon and Aramid yarn which delivers superior 3DL thermo-molded performance with added shapeholding power for small-to-midsize racers and offshore one-designs.
© North Sails	Marathon 480™ recreational cruising sails combine race-sail performance with durability, light weight and modern style. A core layer of Aramid and Carbon Fibre yarns surrounded by tough North TF taffeta outer films (available in white or grey) provide superb protection from chafe and UV. Custom 3DL-X yarn layouts are designed specifically for cruising.
