Mid summers day was an appropriate day to hold this year's J.P. Morgan Asset Management Round the Island Race - with light airs the order of the day the boats needed as many hours of sunlight as possible to complete the course - the last boat finished at 21.51! It was the slowest time for a line honours boat ever recorded in the Race's history with 8 hours 51 minutes being clocked in by Team Richard Mille on the GC32 foiling multihull.

The Gold Roman Bowl for overall winner was awarded to Folkboat, Madelaine, skippered by Edward Donald, powered by North One Design sails. Congratulations to Edward and his crew!

Second and third place also went to North powered boats 2nd placed 'White Mischief' a Hanse 291 with a partial North inventory and 3rd placed 'Meow' a Contessa 26 whose inventory consists of a 3Di Main & Genoa and S2 spinnaker. We reported on these sails when they made their debut and won the JOG Nab Tower Race earlier this year - see here for this report.
