IF Cruising


The International Folkboat is a true classic with Scandinavian heritage. Equally suited for lazy coastal cruising to rough open water crossings. We have used our experience from IF racing and created sails adopted for the needs of the cruising sailor. Many IFs are using old sails. Putting new sails on your International Folkboat is really getting a new boat!

Jib (MX-2)

A new jib made possible by the new class rule. Increased area with longer dimensions and a jib roach. This sail gives the boat sufficient power also in a moderate breeze. With a higher clew compared to the racing jib this sail suits the standard jib tracks.

Spinnaker (BR)

An easy to trim design for a wide range of wind angels. Radial cut for strength and durability.

Headsails for furling systems and self-tacking track

All our headsails have versions adopted to fit roller furling headstay systems. For the genoa there are models with furling pad and UV protection. The furling jib features vertical battens and has an option of UV-cover. If you are considering a roller furling system for your IF-boat we are happy to share our experience. There are a number of high quality systems on the market. We also have a jib model for self-tacking tracks. These sails might need some customization.
