CAMPEONES DEL MUNDO DE J70

El campeonato del mundo 2019 de J70 se celebró en la localidad británica de Torquay entre el 26 de agosto y el 6 de septiembre.

El local Eat, Sleep, J, Repeat, patroneado por Paul Ward y propulsado por velas North Sails, se impuso entre la flota de 77 equipos que competían por la categoría absoluta. Le acompañaron en el podio el estadounidense Catapult y el español Noticia, de José María Torcida. También equipó North Sails el campeón del mundo en categoría Corinthian: el Soak Racing de Marshall King. El Abril Verde, de Luís Pérez Canal, finalizó séptimo.
