North Sails is looking to fill a Service Sailmaker role at our Auckland, New Zealand loft. The Sailmaker works as part of the service team, Servicing/ repairing and recutting sails for all types of yachts.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Repair sails that have been damaged or torn to a good standard
• Remove and refit sails onboard yachts
• Wash and cleaning sails
• Assist with keeping loft space clean and Tidy

Qualification Requirements

• Some Sailmaking experience
• Proficient with hand tools and sewing machines
• Able to lift 30kgs. on a regular basis
• Able to work as part of a team on big jobs
