North Sails is the sailmaker of choice on the majority of America’s Cup, Grand Prix, ocean race boats, and Superyachts. North Sails is looking to fill the office manager role at our Vancouver, British Columbia loft. This individual is team oriented and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. The position involves managing the Vancouver office and communicating with customers on a daily basis. Their role includes invoicing, processing payments, coordinating pick-ups and deliveries, processing orders in the system and working with sales staff. This individual will be responsible for the running of the office on a daily basis and ensuring customers expectations are met while assisting the sales + service team. They play a key role in the order process for both service and new sails therefore multi-tasking is a key asset. The ideal candidate will have sailing experience and are familiar with sailing terminology. Must be comfortable attending events on weekends and evenings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Managing invoicing and purchase orders
  • Shipping new sails and service work
  • Receiving new sails
  • Interacting with customers
  • Managing office needs: ordering office supplies, coordinating office events, liaison with janitorial staff, keeping work space tidy
