Andrew Harry began sailmaking in December 1986 with Hood Sails in Perth, Western Australia.
He started sailing at the age of nine, going through a number of junior classes. He progressed to light weight Sharpies with and accumulated many State Championship titles.

He began offshore and One Design Keel Boat sailing in 1987 and was the 1992 Flying 15 National Champion. Andrew was also the Gold Coast Division winner in 2005. He held the race record in 2011 and 2013 in the Fremantle to Bali Race. Andrew was the Fremantle to Geraldton overall winner in 2014. He holds the race record for 2015 in the Albany to Fremantle race. He was also Offshore Skipper of the Year, Blue Water Champion, winning the Siska Trophy, and was the IRC State Champion in 2015.

Andrew is proud of North Sails Perth, having built a solid reputation in Western Australia over the years. He has a great team, yielding great results and expertise on and off the race course, continuing to help Perth’s sailors get the most out of sailing.
