Patrick Murray started his sailing career in the Great Lakes, a native of Chicago, Illinois. He graduated from Western Michigan University with a degree in Physics. He relocated to San Diego and joined the North Sails team in 2004. His background in sailing covers everything from service to sailmaking, which was his main focus from 2004-12. Not only does he provide his experience on the loft floor, but also on the water, racing International 14 ft skiffs, large offshore multihulls, and J Class superyachts. He has multiple class and national titles, making him a jack of all trades across one design, cruising, and superyacht segments.

Patrick is an active member of Southern California racing fleets, spending as much time on the water as he can, working with clients of all experience levels. He enjoys working with cruising clients, as well as offshore distance cruisers to help them get the performance they are looking for when it comes to finding the right sail for their style of sailing. There is no boat too big or too small, Patrick loves a challenge and can share his expertise across all segments.
