I switched to using North 3Di cruising sails a year ago, and they have been a game-changer. They are ultra-tough but light and molded like racing sails so that Swell gets the most out of the conditions. I don’t have to worry about them tearing and Swell performs like a dream!

We didn’t worry about breaking the 3Di sails, but we started the race wanting to preserve the shape. The plan was always to bear away and be careful with every peel. But the race was so close that we almost never did this. Even so, we knew we could trust the sails.

All our sails are by North Sails and they are 3Di. I have worked together with North Sails for over 10 years now. It’s a team effort to ensure the boat goes fast, and this is what we have done with North for a long time.

My dad had North Sails back in 1977, and I can see why you are still in business today. Thank you for the great products and excellent staff. My buying experience was an absolute, and I picked up and extra two knots this weekend as a result of my new jib!
