Giovanni Sanfelice

Giovanni joined North Sails as a Sail Designer in 2008, after graduating in Aerospace Engineering.

He started surfing since he was 5 years old, first in the Optimist class and later with 420 and 470; in the following years he acquired a great experience in all sectors of the inshore regattas (Swan, Melges, Fast40 +, Mini Maxi, ..) and offshore regattas, becoming in this last field a technical reference point for all Italian projects in the classes Imoca60, Class 40, Mini Transat 6.50.

Currently racing as a trimmer in the Wally class and closely follows the world of SuperYachts, where he was directly involved in major projects of Perini Navi.

In addition to the regatta, he is also a big fan of the cruise industry, where he has always shown the ability to find and suggest the best solutions for any needs of his customers, with a great knowledge of both monohulls and multihulls.

Although he is very involved in several projects, you can always find Giovanni at sea to test new sails and follow the development of all the inventories provided.
