Hendrik joined the North Sail team in 2020 and works as the Managing Director and boat builder of the Jade Yachting Shipyard.

He loves understanding customers’ goals and ambitions and creating a tailor-made solution with the North products to make this possible. He believes the cruising sector holds great potential because new technologies allow sails to be exceptionally durable and fast at the same time, even on a budget.

As an avid sailor, Hendrik is currently working on his own Mini 6.5 and aims to participate in the Mini Transat in 2023. His tip for young, aspiring sailors is to “Get into the theory of the structure and effects of surfaces and the fascination of sailing will become even more apparent on the water.”
