Mathieu joined North Sails as a sailmaker in 2015 and recently became a sail designer. As an engineering student, Mathieu worked closely with some very prestigious companies, such as the aeronautic company Airbus and the defense/military group Thales. Mathieu grew up on the west coast of France and sailed the Laser and J/80 in intercollegiate events. He now enjoys kitesurfing and sailing on various types of keelboats, both in Auckland and offshore.
