Matt Kelway

Matt started sailing at the Bucklands Beach Yacht Club and worked his way up through the centerboard classes and into the Auckland keelboat scene. He has helped win several National titles and continues to push into international classes like the RC44, Etchells and IRC programmes. 

He first joined North Sails in 2007 as part of a University project exploring business management and scheduling techniques. Following this project, he took a full-time position with the loft to further develop systems to provide greater production capabilities and supply chain efficiencies. Matt has since moved into a full-time sales role, working closely with key Grand Prix teams around the globe. Recently he has set a number of offshore records through Australasia, and won the IRC World Championships and Etchells Europeans.
