Chris began working for North Sails in 1990, right after college graduation. He was fascinated by the personalities at North, including Tom Whidden, Vince Brun, Gary Weisman, Jim Allsopp, and Andreas Josenhans, and he wanted to be a part of such an elite group of sailors.

“North is the best and most sophisticated sailmaker in the world, producing the most technologically advanced sails available. It’s great to part of an organization like this.” Chris’ current position at North Sails has him involved with One Design classes.

A veteran of the America’s Cup, the Volvo Ocean Race, and multiple world championships, Chris has also been named Rolex Yachtsman of the Year.

In his rare “free time” Chris enjoys being with his wife and twin daughters, playing golf, and skiing.
