Guy Hewson, Production Manager 

Guy learned to sail in the Marlborough Sounds before moving to Auckland to train as a sailmaker. He has worked and sailed widely overseas, including sailmaking for Team Germany in the 2007 America’s Cup, and running the Orma 60 trimaran Team Vodafone. 

He has worked for North Sails New Zealand since 2012, taking on the production manager role in 2016, overseeing the production process and purchasing for the North Shore loft. With two young sons, he now has less time to go sailing than he used to, but still enjoys harbour and inshore racing whenever he can.
