Stefan “Matschi” Matschuck came to North Sails in 2008 after a sailmaking apprenticeship with another company. He has always been impressed by the North Sails product, the communication and network within the firm, and that he is part of the “family” of North Sails.

In addition to being a capable sailmaker and learning from the likes of Jens Christensen and Ib Anderson, he has worked as both Managing Director and Sales Manager of North Sails Germany.

A lifelong sailor who is passionate about the sport, Matschi has sold and delivered sails to a 150 foot Superyacht—yet he still treasures the memory of winning his first Opti regatta. In the rare free time when he’s not on the water, you’re likely to find him on the ski slopes.
