2018 will mark Tom Castiglione’s’ 10th Bermuda race. Tom has competed in the Bermuda race onboard Maxi’s and various offshore programs. He has also made a couple of those trips with the Swan 42 Class.

A Long Island native, Tom has been a sailmaker for twenty-four years. The past seventeen years Tom has been with North Sails in Connecticut. Specializing in Offshore racing yachts, Tom’s offshore expertise is in building a versatile inventory for any size yacht that will achieve maximum performance without filling the cabin full of sails. Tom also heads up the Class Sail Development Program within North Sails for the Swan 42 Class. It is Tom’s responsibility to make sure that the products North Sails provides to the class are the fastest sails on the market, year after year.
