The sail was developed for Scot sailors who like sailing with rig tension that has a consistent amount of headstay sag so that your team can concentrate on sail trim and tactics. We target our Snug Rig headstay tension between 60-120 lbs dependent on your crew weight, sailing conditions and sailing style. The Snug Rig jib is a great choice for those who sail in any condition as the sail has proven to be nearly unbeatable for sailors from shifty, flat water lakes (like Deep Creek) to open water venues (like Newport and Sarasota).
