Our Ocean Positive journey goes well beyond how we make our products. Our partnerships, projects and advocacy vary hugely and span the globe, but all have these goals in common: opening up the world of sailing to a more diverse audience, inspiring a community that is passionate about protecting our waters, and taking positive steps as a business towards healthier, cleaner oceans.

By partnering with IFAW (International Fund for Animal Welfare), we support essential work to safeguard animals all over the world. One project is saving the North Atlantic right whale from extinction. Just 340 of them remain—unless we act now. Help IFAW save them.

TARA OCEAN FOUNDATION
The Tara Ocean Foundation is finding new ways to protect and preserve the future of the ocean. Aboard Tara, the 118ft (36m) schooner and floating lab, research expeditions look at the effects of global warming, acidification, marine biodiversity, and chemical and plastic pollution. We’re proud to partner with them on their invaluable work.
The Tara team puts high-level scientific expertise to good work: raising awareness, educating young people, mobilizing policy-makers at the highest level, and enabling emerging and developing countries to access the latest knowledge about the ocean.

Worldrise is a non-profit created by young people, for young people. It develops projects to conserve and safeguard the marine environment, which are based on awareness-raising, creativity and education.
Mariasole Bianco, founder and president of Worldrise, has made it her mission since the start to protect the ocean and educate new generations. Worldrise projects are designed by students and graduates to facilitate professional knowledge and skills, and educate future guardians of the our planet's natural heritage. We're proud to partner with them.

Ocean Family Foundation was founded in 2018 by four families. Passionate about the world’s oceans, they feel the responsibility of contributing positively to the marine biome conservation. We are proud supporter and partners of such meaningful project.

OCEANA
Oceana is the largest international advocacy organization, operating in nine coastal countries and the European Union, and dedicated solely to ocean conservation. We work with Oceana’s European branch, helping to ensure adequate resources for marine protected areas in Spain and throughout the Med.

CLEANWAVE & MEDGARDENS
The Cleanwave Foundation is a grass-roots, community-led organization dedicated to the conservation, protection and restoration of land and sea in the Mediterranean. They aim to reconnect people with nature and by working empathetically and creatively with diverse communities, inspire a positive wave of action and hope. Their Medgardens project encourages community participation and proactive interventions that improve the biodiversity of coastal habitats. We’re working with them on an ambitious and effective ocean restoration project for a bay of 120 hectares in Portocolom, Mallorca.

Our partnerships with 727 Sailbags (Europe) and Seabags (North America) provide a second life for old North sails that are past their useful life. Not only does this initiative divert old, bulky sailcloth from landfill, but a percentage of the sales of these upcycled accessories is donated to our sailing charity partners:
