How do I know if I’m eligible?
North Professional is exclusively available to qualified professionals and people working in the sailing and watersports industry. This includes, but is not limited to, professional sailors, watersports instructors, marine industry workers, and ocean advocates (like charities or NGOs). Eligibility is subject to approval by North Sails based on verification of industry affiliation.
Can I get a discount on all North Sails Apparel gear?
Not all products are eligible for the discount. North Sails reserves the right to determine which products are included in the program, and eligible products will be clearly indicated during the purchasing process.
How does the discount work?
North Professional members receive a discount on eligible full-priced products. Discounts apply to the original retail price and are not applicable on sale or promotional items unless explicitly stated. The discount cannot be combined with other offers, discounts, or promotions.
How much North Sails Apparel gear can I buy?
North Sails reserves the right to set purchase limits for North Professional. This includes, but is not limited to, the number of discounted products that may be purchased per year or per transaction, and the total value of purchases allowed under the program. Purchases made through North Professional are for personal use only and strictly not for resale.
Can other people use my discount?
The discount is non-transferable and must only be used by the approved North Professional member. Misuse of the discount, including sharing details of the discount North Professional members receive, may result in termination of North Professional membership and potential legal action.
Can I be a member of Pro North and North Sails Club?
No. If you’re a member of North Sails Club and your application to North Professional is successful, your North Sails Club membership will cease. If your application to Pro North is unsuccessful, you’re welcome to join North Sails Club, if you’re not already a member.
How long does the application process take?
Once you’ve applied, we aim to get back to you in 14 days.
How long does membership last?
We reserve the right to ask for supporting information to reconfirm membership every 2 years.
