Inshore racing calls for gear built to respond, fast. Slim and streamlined with an asymmetric Aquaguard® zipper and storm guard system, this hybrid mid-layer is made from recycled nylon GORE-TEX® Pro with an advanced TightWeave™ face fabric and ePE membrane. Complete with adjustable neck, wrist and waist closures to block out the spray.

Waterproof

Garments intended to protect the wearer from the harshest conditions: waterproof fabrics, seams, zippers, pockets and closures constructed in order to prevent water from entering the garment and to protect the wearer from the elements. Secure cuff-closures, storm-flaps over zippers, protected pockets and adjustable hoods provide additional waterproofing protection.

Breathability

Breathable garments are air permeable. This benefit is most useful during physical activity, when there is an increase in body heat inside the garment. The breathability of the fabric allows moisture vapor transfer (MVT) or the capacity for warm.

When racing inshore or on short offshores (spanning one or a few days), minimising the weight of foul weather gear benefits both human and boat performance.
