Crafted from bonded softshell fabric containing recycled fibers, it features a two-way waterproof zipper with Giallo Fly teeth, a neoprene-lined inner storm flap, a detachable hood and technical ribbing at the trims for a secure fit. Finished with Ferrari Hypersail branding on the chest and a North Sails patch on the sleeve.

Wind Resistance

Garment is constructed with a material that is impervious to wind and helps to prevent heat loss by maintaining the body’s warmth inside the garment.

Waterproof

Garments intended to protect the wearer from the harshest conditions: waterproof fabrics, seams, zippers, pockets and closures constructed in order to prevent water from entering the garment and to protect the wearer from the elements. Secure cuff-closures, storm-flaps over zippers, protected pockets and adjustable hoods provide additional waterproofing protection.

Recycled

Recycled means that a material or product that has been treated using a special process so that it can be used again. At North Sails, we are aware of the dependence that the fashion industry has on non-renewable and finite resources.

Water resistant

Water-resistant describes the fabric’s ability to provide protection in wet weather. A water-resistant fabric uses a DWR coating or a dense weave to prevent saturation of a garment’s outer layer. Water-resistant fabrics shed or repel water; however, they are not entirely waterproof.
