Nick has been with North Sails since 2006 after moving to Sydney from Canada.  He grew up sailing on the North Americas Great Lakes on everything from Lasers to Farr 40’s.  After graduating from University Nick went straight into a sail making apprenticeship and has never looked back.  During this time Nick spent the next four years in the 470 class competing internationally.

   Nick cut his teeth on offshore sailing on board Matt Allen’s VO 70 Ichi Ban before moving on to Super Maxis.  Inshore he has kept busy sailing on multiple MC 38′ teams over the years.  Notably he was a part of the 2011 Sydney to Hobart Line Honors winner Super Maxi Investec Loyal.  Since then he has been sailing on board Bob Oatley’s, Wild Oats XI and the newer 100′ Perpetual Loyal.

Most recently Nick has been sailing on the Kerr 46, Patrice.  Scoring a 3rd place in the 2017 Rolex Sydney to Hobart and winning the prestigious Blue Water Point score.
