NORTH FUELS EIGHT DIVISION WINS AND TWO RACE RECORDS IN ST BARTH
A Beautiful Week Of Sailing Concludes With A Full Trophy Case

Clients fly at Les Voiles de St Barth Richard Mille, winning eight of 11 classes, and claiming two new race records. Congratulations to Peter Harrison’s JV72 Sorcha, winner of the Richard Mille Maxi Cup. Harrison and crew won with an armory of five bullets out of six races to claim the overall Maxi and their class prize. In the 34nm roundtrip race to St Martin, monohull SHK Scallywag and multihull Fujin were neck and neck, finishing just three minutes apart, to win the iconic Richard Mille Record Trophies, and setting new course records in their respective classes at the 10th Edition.
In CSA 1, Franco Niggeler’s Kuka3 took the win, followed by Bernard Girod’s Pata Negra in second, and Joseph Mele’s Triple Lindy in third. Clients on Summer Storm came out clean with a solid score line of straight bullets to win CSA 2. Chris Body’s El Ocaso finished third by one point behind Sir Richard Matthews on Holding Pattern in CSA 4. Pamala Baldwin’s Liquid had no trouble securing the win with their consistent scoreline, scoring five bullets out of six races to win CSA 4 and the overall CSA title. In the multihull ORChm division, Greg Slyngstad’s Fujin placed first, with an eight-point lead over second place Flow, the Gunboat 60 and owner Stephen Cucchiaro. The Maxi 2 division had close racing between the floating beasts. Sojana* finished second, runner-up to Michael Cotter’s Windfall. Swan 80 Umiko with Sean McCarter wasn’t too far behind, taking third in Maxi 2.
Congratulations to all of our clients on a successful week in the Caribbean!
