North Sails is the Official Sailmaker of the America’s Cup. Our relationship with the event goes back to 1977, when Lowell North skippered the 12 meter Enterprise, outfit completely with North sails. Since 1988, every America’s Cup team, defender or challenger, has used sails made by North.
This year is no exception, with North Sails design horsepower fueling development on the teams, and North 3Di technology featured on every boat.
North Sails President, Ken Read, will lead the America’s Cup viewing audience with engaging commentary of live racing. Race coverage can be viewed on the America’s Cup App and on local broadcast channels. A summary of how to watch can be found here.
