Similar to the MA-5, the MA-5R mainsail is an all-around mainsail suitable for most conditions, featuring one line. The sail is designed to be flat so it can be trimmed tightly when necessary and twisted when the helm pressure is too great. The sail is cut with horizontal panels in a stable polyester sailcloth.
