Free-Flying Sail With Highly Efficient Aspect Ratio
Le vele Code Helix sono progettate per garantire la massima versatilità e una potenza costante. Questa nuova generazione di vele Code è caratterizzata dal Structured Luff (inferitura con forma) che condivide in modo ottimale il carico complessivo con un cavo Future Fibres appositamente costruito, consentendo una potenza costante, un carico complessivo inferiore, una maggiore proiezione dell'inferitura e una maggiore autonomia. Il potenziale prestazionale delle vele Helix Code è massimizzato con North 3Di, ma è disponibile anche per vele pannellate per le portanti.
Essenzialmente un Genoa o un Jib Top con le larghezze non limitate per creare la forma di volo ottimale senza rispettare le regole. A seconda della sovrapposizione e del disegno, queste vele finiscono per avere una larghezza media compresa tra il 55% e il 60%. Questa vela può essere issata in testa d'albero o frazionata e carica rapidamente l'armo, in particolare la parte d'albero senza supporto e bompressi. Richiede un cavo d'inferitura con una tensione considerevole o un HELIX.
