North Sails is once again the Official Sailmaking Partner for the 2017-18 Volvo Ocean Race, which covers 45,000 nautical miles and four equator crossings. Our unique 3Di technology proved itself worthy of this epic adventure in the last two editions of the race and has been the sail of choice for every VOR podium finisher since 2010. Seven teams carry a revised VO65 inventory, based on lessons learned during the 2014-15 Race.

Since 1973, the Volvo Ocean Race has kept an almost mythical hold over some of the greatest sailors on the ocean – and the 2017-18 edition will take the teams across four oceans, touching six continents and 12 landmark host cities.
