The SW-4 is slightly flatter than the SW-3. This Worlds winning design is meant to be all-purpose with an emphasis on moderate and heavy air. With a flatter bottom section, the SW-4 is designed to fit stiffer Sidewinder masts. It twists easily to make the sail very forgiving to trim, especially in choppy conditions when the boat and sail are moving in the waves.
